If you’ve spoken to me over the last several months there is about a 75% chance I’ve brought up the genocide in Gaza. It’s completely consumed me. It’s all I’ve thought about. I’ve written about it here a few times. Perhaps you’ve also felt completely helpless. Well babe, you aren’t anymore.

Over the last week I have been given the opportunity to raise money to evacuate a family out of Gaza. So far we’ve matched their initial goal of 20k, which will bring the family’s 3 children and their parents to safety. The oldest, Lillah is eleven, there is also eight year old Farah and the youngest is Shams who is just one year old. We’ve additionally been able to evacuate one adult (over 16.) The people we are hoping to evacuate now are himself, his parents, and his siblings.

My goal was initially to have the funds (55k) to evacuate all 11 members of the family by the 1st of June. Unfortunately due to Israel’s evacuation notice of Rafah, this is now MUCH more urgent. This is not a warning, but a death sentence. PLEASE DONATE.

So let me tell you a little bit about them. Dr. Abdelfattah, my main contact is a cosmetic dentist and dental surgeon. He is extremely ambitious. In early 2023, he opened up the second office of his own practice in Gaza. He invested nearly half a million into it, and it was completely destroyed far before he could finish making payments. This is a person who can undoubtably get back on his feet and support his family in Egypt (where they are looking to go.) He has a universal skillset that is useful and practical. Once they leave Palestine they will THRIVE. I truly believe this.

I do not feel like it should be necessary to explain why these people deserve to live their life, but they are now my responsibility to save and I’m hoping you’ll help alleviate the financial pressure.
